A short reel of one wedding
Thirty seconds from one real wedding, haldi to vidaai, with your studio name and the cities you cover. Get the couple’s permission before you use their photos in an ad.
Couples and families choose a photographer by looking at the work, usually on Instagram, months before the event. An ad that puts your best frames in front of people in your city at that planning stage brings enquiries from people who have already seen what you shoot.
Wedding couples and their families are the biggest bookings, and they start looking three to six months ahead. Pre-wedding shoots are booked by the couple themselves, often aged 24 to 32. Parents book maternity, newborn and first birthday shoots. Smaller jobs fill the weekdays: product photos for local brands and online sellers, office events, school functions, and headshots for professionals.

Say what a package covers: how many days, photo and video, drone, album, the number of edited photos, delivery time. Families compare packages line by line, so a clear one gets the enquiry.
Soft photos from a newborn or first birthday shoot, with whether you shoot at home or in the studio. Parents are careful about who handles a newborn, so mention your experience with babies.
We’d start with a lead form ad. A wedding booking needs a call: the dates, the venue, the number of functions, the budget. A lead form gets the couple’s or parent’s number so you can call back and talk it through. For quick product shoots and small events, a WhatsApp ad lets people send what they need in a message.
For weddings, target your city and nearby cities you are willing to travel to, or the whole state if you shoot destination weddings. Age 22 to 35 reaches couples, and 45 to 60 reaches the parents who often pay. For baby and family shoots, target a smaller area around the studio, age 24 to 38. Keep gender open, since both partners and both families take part in the decision.

Only with their permission. Ask the couple or family in writing, especially for photos of children. Many photographers add this to the booking agreement.
From August to October, while families are still choosing vendors. By December most good dates are booked, and ads then mostly bring last-minute and budget enquiries.
Either. For photographers a short reel or a carousel of your best frames usually says more than a single picture. You approve the design in the app before it runs.
Referrals bring most wedding bookings, and Instagram brings the rest. A short reel of one wedding with a package price, shown to people aged 24 to 32 in your city, fills the gaps between referrals.
