A weekend workshop with a date
A pottery, Madhubani or resin art workshop on a fixed Sunday, with the fee, the timing and "materials included". A date and a limited batch size give people a reason to book now.
Art classes, dance studios, music schools and live shows all have the same problem: people who would enjoy them don’t know they exist. A seat in a workshop or a show is gone once the date passes. An ad that reaches the right people a week or two before, with the date and the fee, fills seats that would otherwise stay empty.
Parents look for weekend and after-school classes in drawing, dance, music and theatre, and for summer camps when schools close. Adults sign up for pottery, painting, guitar or Bollywood dance as a hobby, often after work or on weekends. Live shows, stand-up nights, open mics and art exhibitions draw college students and young working people who decide where to go that week. Schools and offices book artists and performers for annual days and events.

Show children dancing, painting or on stage at the end of last year’s camp, with the age group, timings and the number of weeks. Parents plan the summer holidays in March and April.
Offer one trial class in guitar, Kathak or Western dance at a small fee or free. Adults hesitate to start something new, and a single class is an easy first step.
We’d start with a WhatsApp ad. Most questions are short: what time, what age, how much, is there parking. WhatsApp handles that, and you can send the batch timings or the event poster in reply. For a large show with many bookings, put the ticket link in your WhatsApp reply. For classes that need a callback, such as adult batches with fixed timings, a lead form works well.
For classes, target 3 to 7 km around the studio, since parents won’t drive far twice a week. For one-off workshops and shows, widen it to the city. Use age 28 to 45 for children’s classes, since the parents decide, and 18 to 35 for shows, open mics and adult hobby classes.

Yes. Run the ad for one to two weeks before the date, and choose a plan length to match. Plan days start when the ad goes live, so book it with enough lead time.
For dance, music and live shows, a short clip of a real performance or class says more than a poster. For art workshops, photos of the finished pieces work well.
Parents, not children. Set the age range to around 28 to 45 and write the ad for a parent: the age group, the timings and what the child will learn.
Announce a batch with a start date and offer one trial class. Parents of 5 to 14 year olds living nearby are the audience, and a lead form gets you their numbers before the summer break begins.
